To ensure proper handling of two-byte UTF-8 characters, such as emojis, it's strongly recommended to start your wallet in hexadecimal mode. See the next tooltip for more details.


520 bytes hex-code To configure your asset in hex-code, start your wallet with parameter -valueencoding=hex from the command line/terminal, or add valueencoding=hex to the namecoin.conf file in the data directory.

The shown hex string is split into fragments of 520 bytes each (1040 hexadecimal characters) to fit the size limit for manual name updates.
